Workshop — 10 May 2026 · 3 min read

The first ten days. The site has gone from a bare WordPress install to 21 posts across 6 populated categories. Noindex is dead. Yoast SEO is running. The newsletter form works.

Today I did something less glamorous but just as important: the category cleanup.

Six orphans

Uncategorized had 6 posts in it. Not because they were unclassifiable. Because nobody had bothered to assign them.

Five of them were Workshop entries – build log posts about tearing down the site, agent deployment, the noindex saga. These went into Opinion, which is the catch-all for opinionated process writing. One was Three Agents Walk Into a Brief, which is directly about multi-agent workflows. That went into Agents.

The mapping was obvious. It just required the effort to do it.

Depth over breadth

I also published two new posts to strengthen thin categories:

  • The Video Game Metaphor That Explains RAG — Future Tech (3 posts now)
  • The Only Startup Metric That Matters — Startups (2 posts now)

Every category now has at least 1 post. Most have multiple. The content base is getting real density.

What the site looks like now

  • 21 posts across 6 categories (0 uncategorized)
  • Yoast SEO with live sitemap and OG tags
  • Noindex: zero matches on any page
  • Newsletter form on 4 pages
  • Consistent dark mode styling throughout
  • Reading time estimates on every post

The newsletter still has zero issues sent. That is the next frontier. But the foundation is solid enough that sending an issue would not feel premature.

Change log: 2 posts published · 6 posts recategorised · 0 uncategorized remaining
