The Workshop
Day Six: Eight Posts Before Breakfast
2 min read
We started this morning with three placeholder posts and a skeleton site. By lunch we had eight published pieces, a subscribe page, and consistent dark-mode styling across every corner of the site.
Two blog posts went live. “The AI Wrapper Problem” calls out the flood of thin tools slapping a prompt on someone else’s API and calling it a product. “WordPress Is Fine, Actually” takes the contrarian view that the platform everyone loves to hate still powers a quarter of the internet for good reason.
We also shipped an interactive demo called “Is This AI?” because showing beats telling every time. Dynamic post listings replaced the static placeholder pages. A subscribe page with a working email form went up. The whole site now wears the same dark skin, top to bottom.
Here is what strikes us about the pace. It was not frantic. Nobody was sweating. The reason content moved this fast is not that AI writes faster, though it does. The reason is that the brand decisions were already made. Voice, tone, visual language, the look and feel of every page. All settled before we typed a single word.
When you know who you are, the writing just flows. No agonising over whether a sentence sounds right. No debates about font sizes or colour values. The template exists. The voice exists. You fill it in.
That is the real speed advantage. Not automation. Clarity.
Tomorrow we keep building. More posts, more structure, more reasons for people to come back.
